Troubles in Hollywood

Lights, camera, drama? Yes, drama. Hollywood is known for its several movie stars and famous celebrities and it certainly expanded its list this past NBA off-season with the Los Angeles Lakers signing superstar LeBron James. People say Jordan is the best to ever do it but a majority of NBA fans beg to differ and say James is right up there and if not better than Michael Jordan. Lakers fans have something to look forward to this season: the relationship between LeBron and the rest of the organization. We all saw it coming where LeBron has to solely take over a team and lead it to victories every single night. With a young supporting cast featuring Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma, the team also made some interesting acquisitions adding veteran guards Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson as well as Michael Beasley and Javale McGee. What a motley crew to back up LeBron. But in recent days, LeBron told the media that he was frustrated with their performance in games starting the season off 2-5. LeBron had said, "You Probably don't want to be around when my patience runs out" (ESPN). None of us want to be present if LeBron starts to lose his mind. With all the what-ifs to begin the season, the LA star is averaging 27.6 PPG, 9.1 REB, and 8.3 AST in the seven games he has played in. But in all seriousness, GM Magic Johnson understands what he is doing and is not only looking at LeBron as a producer on the court, but to mentor and teach a lot of the younger players like Kuzma, Lonzo, and Josh Hart. It is still early in the season to make assumptions but I am excited to sit back, put my feet up, and eat some popcorn while watching the cinematic film titled "The Los Angeles Lakers".
